Last night, I went to watch the long-awaited "Thunderstorm". Probably because it was a relatively familiar play included in my high school Chinese textbook, now I can go and watch it live in college!! So I'm extremely excited and especially looking forward to it
This classic work focuses on a bourgeois family in a feudal society. The relationships among the characters in the play are "intricate", and any two people have countless connections, as if they were in a large-scale "match-three" scene. The conflicts and contradictions within are depicted to the extreme through the superimposition of various love, hate, and entanglements. Therefore, from a contemporary perspective, it seems somewhat "melodramatic". Coupled with the unique style of dialogue in the drama of that era, it leads to frequent "laughs" from the audience. It is precisely this intense dramatic conflict that adds even more tragic color.

Everyone must go to the scene to watch a play at least once! It's extremely immersive and you'll really be fascinated! It's completely different from video recordings, especially when the actors take their collective bows, which is particularly touching.
I'm already looking forward to the upcoming "First Date" and "Kiki's Delivery Service"
